Those threaded fittings are a pain in the ass. I converted mine to quick connects, which means that I have to use a different filter now. It’s a common GM filter with the same canister size, and nestles snugly in the bracket; the only difference from the original filter is the connection type. The next time I have to change this filter, it’s going to take about 10 seconds to swap.
